Parish Council
The Parish Council meet on the last Tuesday of every month, 7.30 in the village hall, with the exception of August and December. Visitors are always welcome.
Haresfield is a small village within the boundary of Stroud District Council in South Gloucestershire around one mile from Junction 12 of the M5 motorway and sits between the villages of Brookthorpe, Harescombe, Standish and Hardwicke. According to the 2021 Census, Haresfield Civil Parish (E04013005) in Gloucestershire had a total population of345 people. The population was 49.6% male and 50.4% female, with 12.5% of residents aged 0-15 and 21.7% aged 65 and over.
Haresfield today boasts a pub, The Beacon & Railway Inn and a thriving junior school. With working farms and a railway track at its centre it is a busy place. The church, which is dedicated to St Peter, is apart from the village itself and accessed by a public right of way on a private drive.
